Question:

With the site have fewer and fewer up days than down days, I'm trying to find out if there is any interest from the owner in selling the site and all rights. It was a good site and I've enjoyed it for years as an amaeture who is trying get better (alias JonahWhale).

Answer:
The owner doesn't appear to be interested in selling but has just allowed the site to die - it's been offline now for over 2 months.

Question:

Sheena of photosig recently sent me a threaten email for supposed comment I made about her and are photosig (not really sure) outside of photosig. Not really sure what I said to make her send me the threats but to be completely honest I am sick of Photosig and Sheena. Other sites photonet, flicker, etc have been openly criticized on the internet yet their site administrators treat these comments as constructive and make changes in polity depending to the criticism. The fact that Sheena clearly see’s herself as some sort of omnipotent administrator is bunk and she get help for her problem as soon as possible. Honestly I glad to be banned from Photosig, I am among a growing number of former members who have been through this same insane process of threats from someone who obviously does not understand the distinctions that separate her world from the world that the rest of us must live.

Answer:
Hank W hit the nail on the head with his review however he did leave out the drama that the clique members like to create with members. Gangs of them sometimes critique your photos with monotonous rapidity saying the same thing over and over. It’s a great place if you have small format photo that you want to pass off as a large format photo; the quality of the photo doesn’t matter if you belong to a critique group. If you like submitting your photo to a small group who adore each other (AKA PhotoNazis) be my guest and become a member of Photosig.
