After my initial contact, I was able to speak with a representative, Melanie Ramos, who guided me to the best care option for my mom. Melanie provided me with several assisted living communities and after touring a couple, we found one that my mother was very happy with. I am very happy that I chose to use this service, instead of trying to figure out and navigate everything on my own.
I called A Place For Mom because my family needed urgent help in finding an appropriate placement for my sister-in-law. We needed an Assisted Living facility in the area that could also accept Hospice. The telephone counselor was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and guided us in obtaining seven excellent referrals to meet our needs. My niece was able to visit the referral facilities and found a perfect fit that met almost all our needs. All the referred facilities were very good. I received follow up calls from most of the referred facilities and everyone was so kind and helpful.
The staff was very good in helping me location many options. At one point, i think there was too much information coming in as people in many facilities were calling or texting. I have secured a place at Brookdale in Altamonte Springs
We heard about A Place for Mom through television advertising. We needed immediate advice on area memory care facilities for our mother. Initiating on-line contact resulted in immediate recommendations. Additional follow-up resulted in choosing the first recommendation on A Place For Mom's list. Telephone contact with our representative was supportive, and emails providing support for a variety of question areas was unexpected and welcome.
I contacted them to see how it works and they quickly connected me with someone who helped me with facilities around my area. The person helped me narrow down a place for my mom.
From the start, they provided a great amount of resources. They assisted in finding a great place for my Mom. Thank you for all the help during a difficult time.

When I called, I knew I needed a nurse available to my parents more than the normal health aides that are more readily available. My relative recommended A Place For Mom and through them, I learned that assisted living options that can be temporary and actually reasonably priced in comparison to having a nurse that can only stop in
I needed some referrals for my mother who was being kicked out of Sunrise of Vienna. Becky not only provided me with some wonderful alternatives, but was kind enough to follow up to see how things were going and offer more help if need. Thanks to her my mom is in a much better place and being care for as she should be.
It has been a great experience. Thanks to Georgia Martin from Idaho Falls, Idaho, I found my new home at Morning Star in Idaho Falls, Idaho where I wanted to be. I am looking forward to spending many years at this comfortable place. Everyone there has been very sociable and welcoming. The amenities are great
I was very specific with the agents I spoke with regarding the needs of my parent. The list they provided and knowledge they were able to share was very helpful in the decision process of where to place my parent comfortably.
I was able to be connected with a provider who sent a wonderful lady caregiver.
They stayed in contact and found a wonderful lady as my caregiver. She has been a Godsend.
Alycia Altman our advisor guided us throughout our entire journey navigating my mother to independent living here in SWF. Such invaluable services! Thank you A Place for Mom. We couldn't have done it without your help!
They were quick to respond. Gave helpful advice. I was able to find a facility for my mom using their guidance. Polite and easy to talk to.
Following a number of falls, it was time to provide Dad with additional in home care, while preserving his dignity and sense of independence. A Place for Mom provided the list of local agencies, enabling me to conduct interviews and select an agency and a caregiver that best fit our needs.
Thank you for making the process easier and for providing assistance each step of the way.
Better than the Dept of Aging. You provided a return call from a local assisted living facility; they called back quickly. They interviewed us and mom was in her new place within 2 days.
I had a terrible experience to begin with. I thought we were moving my mom to The Preserve of Roseville. We had a short timeline to move her from a TCU to Assisted Living. Once the Executive Director found out she was on dialysis she didn't want my mom. Hint: They met her and I and could have told us on the tour it was a disqualifier right away before we did all the paperwork and handed over the financials. This service helped us find The Shores of Lake Phelan. It is very nice and as it turns out less expensive. I only talked to Tracy by voicemail messages which I didn't like. We could never talk directly. I'm sure she gets some commission for this sale.
We were looking for information on assisted living facilities. A Place for Mom used the information we provided about the location and type of arrangement. They sent us 8 different choices, of which we eliminated 4 and had 4 as "finalists." We booked with one of the final 4, and Mom is very happy. A Place for Mom saved us a lot of time by sending us the appropriate facilities we requested. The staff also gave us other programs that turned out to be great financial assistance for her care.
As with most people I knew little about finding a senior living experience and 'A Place for Mom' made finding and setting up tours quite easy. I was saved lots of calling and researching.

Answer: In the Greater Louisville (Kentuckianna) metro area there are several I can recommend you consider based on our tour of recommended facilities in Southern Indiana. As residents of Southern Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, we chose Silvercrest in New Albany Indiana. They offer independent living in freestanding apartments as well as assisted living and also more complete care for those needing it. We also really liked Traditions at Hunters' Station in Sellersburg which has identical options, and Bennett House in Clarksville, which offers assisted living and additional services but does not have independent living. Some of these do have limited Medicaid beds in their nursing facilities.
