Let me tell you about the Bill My Parent SpendSmart Mastercard. It's a prepaid, reloadable debit card that my teenager uses for everyday expenses and purchases. She travels back n forth between parents who live in different states. It's not always easy for me to get money to her for things she may need and this card makes it super easy. All while teaching her responsible spending habits. Here are some of the great features:

* Monthly fee is only $3.95 paid by the parent.

* It's reloadable! I can add funds to it and even set up a monthly allowance.

* There are no overdraft fees. If there aren't funds available... it declines.

* It can be used for online or storefront purchases. Even to withdraw cash from an ATM. Everywhere Mastercard is accepted.

* It's completely trackable. I get notifications every time she uses it. When, where and how much was spent.

* In the event she abuses her priviledge, I can place a lock on it and temporarily suspend it from being used.

She's been able to buy her school yearbook and get her haircut, buy clothes and pay the registration costs for joining the volleyball team. It's given her a sense of empowerment and responsibility. It's given me peace of mind. She lets me know she needs the money and I go online and load it immediately on the card. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
