The staff at the Enterprise location in Elizabeth City, NC are head and shoulders above any other when it comes to customer service. Every thing was good. I was treated nice. Got a car fast, and then drop off went smooth as well. Then enterprise sent my $280 deposit back, because I had to pay an extra $19and some change for gas. The deposit was sent, but was in pending status. Now it never went through. Like it was never there. I was told I would get the $300 deposit when I returned the car. I never got it. Was wondering, because it had unlimited miles, and I didn't probably drive 500 miles. Maybe it was a mistake that it didn't go through. Im just wondering what happened.

The 1st 3days were covered by car insurance. Matthew was very helpful and accommodating when we wanted to extend the rental at the car insurer fees.
The 2026 Sentra performed well with no issues.
There was a wait to return the car, as Kayla's solo during lunch hours. She was pleasant and the return went smoothly.

Props to the Enterprise team at JFK! Usually, airport car rentals are a headache, but my recent experience here was the exact opposite. They were super fast and efficient right when I arrived.
What really stood out was how professional yet genuinely friendly the agent was. She was so accommodating and let me check out a few different vehicle options instead of just forcing me into the assigned one. The whole process was completely easy and satisfying. For anyone coming into NY (as well as surrounding areas) who needs a rental, I think the Enterprise fleet and service are the best!

I live in a remote area and it's hard to find good people, but Enterprise car rental have done just that. From the man who cleansed the car before I took it to the nice girl who picked me up and the people in the office. Great staff and decent cars.

Great experience with Enterprise Rental when I needed a vehicle at the last minute. The person who assisted me, George, is an excellent employee who is an example of efficiency while being personable. I will definitely rent from this Enterprise if I need its services in the future.

I got the care as part of the insurance claim process for an accident. I have a difficult time getting anyone on the phone or to answer my email when trying to reach out over the phone. Then the woman I did talk to was very rude and didn't explain to me clearly they would have a car for me and just kept repeating "they'll figure it out". I had the office manager with body shop came with me to Enterprise since it was her personal experience with her customers saying the same thing about the poor customer service. Then I get there and I got nothing but attitude from the girl who happened to be the same person I talked to on the phone and it got worse when I told her where I worked. She was carrying on a conversation with somebody else in the office at the same time she was talking to me and didn't even properly show me the vehicle. I get in the car in the interior was dirty and smelled like a blunt with a whole bunch of air freshener trying to mask it. I drove the car home and it was fine until the next day it started driving poorly like it had front end repair that was needed. I received a text message from Enterprise saying if there was any problems or I needed help to let them know via text and I did tell them everything about it. I got no response. I then reach out to my claims adjuster and let them know everything that was going on with my rental car and they forwarded it to enterprise. That's when I got a response from your assistant manager at that location Jeremy telling me to come down with the vehicle and apologized. I did not give him a hard time either I just said hey I just want a car that is clean and doesn't have problems. He puts me in another car that one was also not very clean and he told me he just got it out of the shop. I didn't have a problem with driving that one until the next day when I went to go get my glasses and it started shaking when I turned corners. So then I took that one back and got another one that was finally decent and only had it for one day. I ended up emailing Jeremy again asking him for my invoice because I still hadn't received one and he said he would send it after he picked up the rental from The Body Shop on Monday. I still haven't received an invoice. I haven't checked my credit card yet to see how much I'm charged but I'm afraid. And this is not the first time that I've had problems with this location involving insurance claim rentals. My son did too 2 years ago. I went back to this location out of convenience and in hopes they would do the right thing. But this place is a mess and I'm very disappointed right now and I really would like a discount and will dispute charges if somebody doesn't do something to make this right. Because everything that I went through and the way I was treated was complete garbage.

The staff was efficient and performed the rental process in a timely and professional manner.
An Enterprise driver picked me up from a repair shop, took me to the Enterprise rental office, where are we took a few minutes for me to drive away in a rental. When I picked the car up from the repair shop two weeks later, Enterprise picked up the rental car as well.
All of the rental transactions were emailed to me that afternoon, and the $50. Deposit was returned to me the next day.

Fast and efficient clean car people were nice to talk to very informative. I filled the car back up, wiped everything down with armor all as it was when I got it.

Like always and (I rent frequently). They are fast, accurate, never rushed, interested in my concerns, makes sure I am upto date on any new features. They provide great customer service with a smile. I haven't been dissapointed yet. That's why I keep coming back. No fuss & no surprises.

Great rental price, unlimited miles, good vehicle, and great customer service. However, if booking last minute, make sure you check the local property you're renting from. National call center may say they have a vehicle available, but the local center might not have one. That happened to us 3xs within the same rental for 3 different locations.
