I saw the offer to sign up for etags and filled out the form. I Didn't exactly count the days when my new registration and stickers arrived but it was about 2 or 3 days. It's always good to just 'get it done and over with' on a task like this. Thank you.

It's an easy process, but the fee for e-registration was nearly as much as the tag cost. So, next year I will go in person. There should NOT be a penalty for choosing to register online. The fee is a penalty. Most businesses appreciate customers doing all the work themselves online. NOT the BMV!

I needed to call multiple times and wait on hold to clarify the status of things and had requests to resend information and photos I had already sent. I was surprised by an additional $200 DMV fe after I had already paid $320 to Etsy's for our two cars.
Can I return the registration?. Since I preferred the new registration the car has been sold (accident) and I no longer own the car. I have another care due to be registered soon. Can the Beetle registration be transferred to the Venza?
I ordered and paid for 2 years [ 2028] received[ 2026], same tags I currently have. Agent told me, I ordered too early.
I completed the renewal form that I received online, sent it in. I received my new tags in about three weeks.
I was grossly overcharged. I asked for a 2 year tag & somehow in the area I didn't get a 2 year tag but was charged $21.95 service fee. Then more fees bringing another $23.32 in fees. I did let our governor know, we are being ripped off terribly, my tag started out $46.10, adding all the rest on is plain out & out theft!

The online process confused me at first, but I was able to work through it. It is a time saver over sitting in a County/State office waiting to process the request.
I titled my Jeep at the Bradenton Title place and let the sticker go past Jan 26 because I was out of town. I am told that I can't renew remotely because of some inconsistency in a search. If I was vetted in person before, why can't I simply renew remotely... I am out of state

Answer: Hi Karl, yes, you can. If you are already an owner of the vehicle, you can order a duplicate or replacement title if you lost your original copy. If you need to transfer ownership into your name, you can also request a transfer of the title only without applying for a registration. We provide both of these services in Florida, California, and Pennsylvania. New York services will be online soon. Visit eTags.com to choose the state and service. If your vehicle is not currently registered in any of those state or you are not transferring that title to that state, you can still do the same service directly with the DMV in the state you are in. Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. We currently offer renewal service online in California, Maryland, and Florida. You will be able to still use our service if your vehicle is registered in California or Florida. Please keep in mind that the DMV will require we collect the past due amount along with the fee to bring your tag current through the next year. If your vehicle is registered in Maryland, the MVA requires you renew in person if you are more than 6 months late so you will not be able to complete the order online with eTags. We apologize for the delayed reply as this site (sitejabber.com) is not owned or operate by eTags and we do not monitor communications via this independent reviews website regularly. Our support team can respond to inquires within 24 hours if we are contacted directly by phone or email. On our website, both before and after and order is submitted for Florida registered vehicle, we itemized our service fees and we disclose that your state registration fee is to be determined (TBD). The Florida registration fee is not listed on the website becuase, since we are not the DMV, we have to send your plate information to a state licensed agency to calculate that amount and that is done offline. We do provide a resource before the order is placed that allow you to estimate the amount of your state registration fee and we also disclose on our website that we are not owned or operated by any government agency. We apologize if you missed that information prior to completing your order. Your registration was already renewed on 3/24/17 and this cannot be reversed with the state DMV. Your tags were already shipped to the address you provided us at the time you placed your order. Please contact our customer support team directly by phone or email and they will be able to assist you with any additional questions or concerns you may have.
