I needed to get some sun protection for oak seedlings on our ranch. I found ShellT Grow Tube (fully ventilated) on the Forestry Suppliers site. These have arrived and are now installed... and seem to be working perfectly. I opted for the perforated (ventilated) design to promote air flow through the cylinder. These can also be stacked or expanded laterally using the simple snap-together system. Material is tough and looks like it will withstand full sun exposure and last many years. Experience with FS was seamless and efficient. I plan to purchase additional grow tubes.

Perhaps I'm too demanding, but it seems that shipping times are not as advertised, 3-4 days turns into 1-2 weeks? Internal company accounts are difficult to access.

I bought a 5' net to trap a particularly aggressive cat on my property. This cat refused to go into alive trap so netting him was the only option. There were no directions for putting this net together. I couldn't get one of the screws to go all the way in. I wasn't sure if I had pushed the net around the ring correctly. I had no idea where to clip the rope that goes around the net so the animal can't climb out. I did manage to net this aggressive cat and prayed the whole time that I had put together the net, ring, and pole sufficiently that it would hold the cat until I got him to a dog crate. I was holding on to the rope for dear life hoping he didn't swat me through the net and I would let go of that rope & he would attack. Or that the ring was appropriately attached to the pole and would hold him until I got him in the crate. This cat has previously attacked my leg and sent me to the emergency room with huge gouges in my legs. Carrying him in this net that I wasn't would hold was terrifying and could have been completely avoided with some simple directions,

Fantastic item options, however if you don't know what the item is called, there are a quite few options, making searches difficult.

Due to issues with uploading tax number online, I placed my order by phone. The FS employee was very helpful, and the order was placed correctly. I received the shipment in two days. Perfect experience.

I like the clarity of the catalog and that small parts are stocked. For example, the Smokechaser pump parts are identified with a clear diagram (actually a TSB) which corresponds precisely to the parts list.
