Worst Experience Ever!

I ordered a lot of furniture. A fabric Couch & Loveseat set; A leather sectional 3 piece plus an additional leather loveseat from the same set. The price was great, got delivered quickly. Upon delivery, the delivery people left all 6 large items, packaged in the driveway, asked to inspect the outside of the boxes. Did not want to wait for us to unpackage everything and inspect everything individually. The boxes themselves were intact and there was no visible damage. It took hours to unpackage them. One of the leather pieces-which was a loveseat, had a friction rub right on the front where the colored leather was rubbed off along with stitching; the fabric couch had what appeared to be a burn mark on the backside. The 3 piece sectional was way too big for our space. I contacted Goedekers the very next morning informing them of the 2 damaged items, and the request to return the wedge of the section (as its sold in individual pieces), and they refused to do anything saying it was signed off 'free and clear of damage'; they won't take the wedge back, and they no longer return my calls, emails, and when I call they don't help but say 'upper management is going to get back to you', its been over 2 months. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with!

I ordered a garbage disposal on June 20. Called on Friday June 24th to check the status of the order. Call was answered by "Appliance Connection", was told it would be on a truck Monday June 27. Called today June 30 was told they were waiting for the allocation department to process my credit card. I can not wait another - how long? - for the garbage disposer. I'll order it from a reputable company.

Don't buy appliances here

We got a refrigerator online along with an entire set for the kitchen. The few hundred dollars price difference is not worth it trust me. Our refrigerator we ordered in July did not get delievered until February which we were very understanding about due to everything going on.
When it arrived it did not work but we did not know until April when we plugged it in at the new house (since we ordered as soon as we started building). Now it is almost July and we have not had a working refrigerator for nearly 3 months, we have contact them, and whirlpool and after 3 service calls with 2 repair companies we are waiting on another service call which is 5 weeks out to see if replacing parts will fix it or now - the entire sealed system is broken and will not cool.
Goedekers has been no help, they have no solution and no customer service. We have ask for a refund or replacement and keep getting the run around since they are waiting for the 1 year to expire. We also did not get our rebate they advertised since we did not have the serial numbers in time to apply for the rebate cut off. Just a pain after 13+ hours with customer service and 3 days waiting around at home 6 hrs each time for a repairmen still no working refrigerator. $4K+ metal paper weight in our kitchen for months.

Buy local so you can return or talk to someone - do not buy here

Recently purchased a GE microwave $464.00 delivery was delayed! Finally received it and it was damaged. It's hard to believe they ship it without any protection and you are responsible for shipping and insurance! TO RETURN. POOR CUSTOMER Service FOR Returns ((((((Buyer beware))))))) I will never forget!

Never again!

Recommended them to a family member. The stools that were ordered never showed up, and the customer service reps were rude and were openly unwilling to resolve the situation.

Apparently Goedeker's has gone down the tubes since they were bought out. Sorry I recommended them and will never shop there again.

Incompetent. Run away.

I ordered a refrigerator in June which included installation and removal of the old one. I waited patiently for 10 months in order to schedule the delivery, and they hired a company that doesn't do removal or installation. Now I'm having a hell of a time finding a company to it. Had I not waited so long I would have cancelled the order as soon as I found out they messed it up. Don't use these people. They're incompetent.

HORRENDOUS COMPANY

I purchased three barstools from Goedekers, all in the same color (Ruby faux gray leather), and one of the three was sent in black instead of gray. I wished to return the full set therefore, as they do not work for my kitchen. I spent 10 (TEN) phone calls with their customer service representatives, provided them 7 different times with all the pictures needed (all boxes front and back, all chairs, etc-- as attachments, as links, everything) and filled out tickets x3, sent 8+ emails, ALL TO NO AVAIL. After 2 weeks of using my precious time on this, the woman on the phone charged me $90 to return the chairs, AND told me I have to lug the chairs to a return facility, even though it was NOT MY MISTAKE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I have never experienced anything like it.

Liars and cheats

Purchased venta hood they shipped and won't pay shipping bill. I can't since it's their product and fed ex says that company hasn't paid bill so holding package. Been going on two weeks so far call everyday to be lied to again

Getting the run around
January 18, 2022

Placed order on 12/28/2021 with Jack. I was told it was in stock. They say it has been picked up 1/8/22.
No one is able to give me Pro # or Bill of Lading # and they keep giving me the same info without anyway to confirm it was ever shipped. Shipper Odyssey Trucking has no record of anything.

Terrible Company!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! STAY AWAY! They listed a bar stool on their website with a picture of a grey chair with the color grey being in the title and the description, well the chair was brown. I contacted the company to return the chairs and they deducted $200 from my return amount for shipping. Silly me thought that was for the return labels to send them back to them. Nope! They wanted me to pay them the money they spent on shipping the chairs to me and then wanted me to pay again to ship them back to them. Their excuse? It's costly to have return items and they want the customer to pay all costs associated with the return. Never in my life have I heard that! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Horrible Service

If I could rate them less than 1 star I would.
Worst customer service I have experienced. Read from a scrip, not helpful, and non responsive. I have been waiting a year for a refrigerator. Though I completely understand the world shortage of components and logistics challenges, I have been told several ship dates that never happed and when the ship date came and went, i would have to contact them for them... just for them to give me another ship date which was 2 months later. This happened Every time I contacted them. Then they told me it was available but wouldn't ship for another 2 months. I asked to speak to a manager several times, they said someone would get in touch with me in 24 to 48hrs and that never happened. They have no answers and do not even pretend to care. Still am no closer to getting any information than I was a year ago.

We ordered a Bosch dishwasher from them on November 30,2020 and paid for it in full on December 1,2020. As of today, September 15,2021 we have no dishwasher. Despite multiple calls with them (more than monthly) I would receive reassuring news that it was just delayed and that I would hear something in x weeks. On July 12,2021 I was finally told that the product had drop shipped and I would hear something from the delivery service in 1-2 weeks. Further calls with customer service were not fruitful and finally when I called again today and was told that the product would be with the delivery company in another week (same old story), I finally told them that they were not reputable and their business model of not having inventory was leading them to lie to the customer! I cancelled the order and have ordered a different Bosch dishwasher that the Bosch site says is available. I will never order another product from this company and hopefully you will reconsider using them. Order from someone who has it in stock. It would have been better if they had just told me the truth and offered for me to order a product that was available instead of stringing me along for nine months. Bad business!

Wish I could leave zero stars

I ordered a sofa with an 8-12 week lead time 11 months ago, on Sept 29 2020. Today is August 29,2021. No sofa after numerous calls. They are blaming the carrier instead of finding or shipping me another. I've been more than patient and they only keep offering a refund. I don't want a refund, want the sofa you sold me a year ago, that's I've patiently waited on. This company is a joke. Order #*******235

Dishwasher order

Order a dishwasher for a wedding present in May, still not received it. Just told another four week delay. Was no way to speed up order. Told it was up to me to get shipper to expedite order.
If you need something by a special date you should look elsewhere.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

They charged me 4000 dollars and never shipped my item. They told me they would call me back on five occasions but never did so. I still don't have my fridge that I ordered in May (and they charged me for in May!) STAY AWAY. You'll never get your product and you'll lose hours of your life trying to get your money back.

I ordered a dresser and when the order was ready to be shipped noticed they had the wrong address. I tried no less than 10 times to get them to correct this. After a month, I was told I needed to pay additional shipping costs in order to receive my item because they shipped it to the wrong state. I tried to work with their customer service and ultimately had to cancel my order. I will never order anything through them again.

Deceitful Practices :/

I am SO upset. After searching multiple stores, I had ordered a range on May 10 from this company that had advertised a good price and the earliest delivery date. The first deceitful practice was promising something they could not fill - That date was changed SIX TIMES. That was frustrating enough, but I knew at least part of the situation was out of their hands as the order was backordered from the manufacturer, so I tried to be patient.

June 30 I logged into my account for an update and the status had finally changed to say "Your items have arrived and are preparing to ship. You will receive tracking information shortly." I was so excited! I sent a message to confirm and was told "Yes your order is ready to ship! You will receive a email when this order ships out followed by tracking, you should receive that email in the next few days." So we wait... days went by, followup messages were ignored. Yesterday I called and was told over the phone it was in the warehouse and they ship to Ohio on Thursdays, so would be leaving either this week or next. Somewhat irritated, but at least the end was finally in sight, right?

Well... last night (conveniently AFTER business hours so I could't reach someone), I get an email stating it was "on backorder" and "expected to ship on: 08-10-2021." WHHAT?!?!?!? I emailed. I FB Messaged (both ignored). Today I called. I read off the transcript I had stating that they had it 2 weeks ago... several minutes on hold but nothing. They have had my money for TWO WHOLE MONTHS and I have nothing to show for it other than their worthless apologies. They don't know why I was told that it was in stock but they won't have it for another month. How can I believe that? It could be Christmas at this rate!

I told them I wanted to cancel, get a complete refund - to which they replied it could take 10-14 days (though they've had my money, and no product, for over TWO MONTHS!) Truthfully I feel entitled to interest charges or other reimbursement for all the inconvenience and stress they have caused. Didn't take them that long to charge me or lie to me about order status (multiple times and places! My online account, a FB message, AND over the phone all said in stock and ready to ship). If they didn't lie, they sold it out from under me. Either way, very bad business practice and horrible customer service.
