I wanted to get the Mitsubishi Mini-split shown on their website. As I was filling my cart, I got a message from Kevin asking if I'd like him to help me put that order together. I accepted, and he did so, whereupon I placed my $2K plus order. When it arrived, I found that is was not the Mitsubishi I had been looking at, but a brand called ACiQ. Yes, I had seen the ACiQ associated with my products on the order, but thought it was a particular model name for the Mitsubishi. When I contacted Kevin at HVACDirect, he wrote that he substituted this brand as being 'better' than the Mitsubishi, with a longer warranty. None of his messages during the ordering process made any sort of comparison between the 2 brands.
When I contacted customer service, I was told to return the ACiQ to them, at my expense, in exchange for... not the Mitsubishi I originally thought I was ordering because that one was no longer available! The only other substitute Mitsubishi was more than $3K.
After much pondering, I decided to keep the AciQ, and began the unpacking and installation, which is nearly completed. I found that the electical cable included was 4 feet too short, and there was no wrapping tape to protect the line sets, as listed in the manual.
I am not happy with HVACDirect at all. I will add to this review when I see how the ACiQ works.
Had shipping damage on furnace and evaporator coil. Everyone was great to deal with and worked to resolve my issue very fast.
Delivered on time in great condition, installation went great and unit works great.
We were looking at two different units for our project, one more expensive than the other. The sales rep pointed out the warranty on the less expensive option was a better warranty and the reviews for the unit were just as good if not better as well. We chose the less expensive option and are having great success with this choice
Ordered a 5 ton heat pump and lineset. The line set got ordered out of one warehouse that showed they had none so when I called to find out where it was it only took about two weeks with all the confusion I gave them time and when they sent it out of another warehouse it came in a week. Took my time hooking it up as I had to wait for a special order pad to come in and finally got it all hooked up. Incredible cooling and so so quiet. Everyone loves it. Haven't had a chance to see the heat side yet as the temperature outside hasn't dropped enough yet to let the sensor outside to come on. Guess I just have to wait and see on the heat side. Did hvac for ten years working for lennox and this unit was very reasonable and easy for anyone to install.just read everything first.
Found the exact setup I was looking for. Total price for replacing my 4 ton unit was about the same price as contacting a local hvac supplier with a standard Goodman, but I got a high efficiency inverter heat pump system. My old r22 unit could barely cool my house. Now my house can cool 8 degrees per hour. With a communicating thermostat for dehumidification options. Really incredible.
HVAC direct packaged the pallet really well so even bumps and knocks from delivery and warehouse transportation didn't damage the unit.
I ordered a replacement system. The condensing unit was out of stock so HVAC Direct notified me and substituted a different unit at no extra charge. The system was delivered on schedule and was installed without a problem. Great website, selection and communication. Highly recommended!
Started with a call to get some more information on a unit and the representative helped me pick out the one for my space and added everything I would need to a shopping cart. I made the purchase and a few days later everything arrived.
I am a Licensed technician with a contractor's license. The revolve furnace company was extremely difficult and people representing the company made it very difficult to get the warranty. The ACIQ heatpump still fighting to get that warranty established. HVAC. Com has all information and we also gave ACIQ all the information. The warranty side is a nightmare.
I have bought 5 furnaces and all have been more then great. Awesome price easy to talk to.
It was 3 weeks from the time of order to delivery and I LIVE IN THE SAME STATE as HVAC Direct! There was no communication as to why there was a delay or that the order had shipped. All things that were ordered delivered. The unit works fine. I had to call twice to figure out what was going on. They would've gotten 5 stars except for their lack of communication.
Got it fast and works great no problems so far out of it
There is just one thing where you guys could improve. Third-party delivery service never sends me a text message. I work at night shift, They call in the morning; since I receive a large number of fake or scam calls, I fail to pick up or answer their calls. As a result, my item remained stuck in their warehouse for 10 days.
Thermostat we ordered wasn't available so we were give the option of a free upgrade. Everything arrived in great condition!
Great customer service. They shipped the order ahead of schedule. Customer was very pleased.
The web site had a good description of the electric furnace that I purchased for a mobile home property, as well as several good choices. I thought that the pricing was fare. The website was easy to use to make the order as well as put in shipping information. The furnace came pretty quickly! And was on time with respect to statements from the company. Overall, I have been happy with this company.
