I purchased some Prodex 62" Fast Action 5m vapor barrier for my 30x40 shop. First off the price was cheaper than any other option I looked at. Second the shipping was nice and quick and the delivery guy great. I wanted to go with foam panels but the cost for me was crazy compared to how much I actually spent using Insulation4less.com. I was concerned that the product would not be worth it and that I made a mistake "cheaping out;" however, I was so wrong. The Prodex is great and has exceeded my expectations. You definitely need at least two people for install to make it easier but can get done with one person. My dad and I installed the product ourselves and started out using foil tape from Lowe's. Do not do this. I then tried duct tape. Do not do this. In the end I decided to go with Bluetex foil tape for two reasons. They offered a return if I didn't like the tape and two, there tape had a backing so it made it easier to tape things up by myself because I could start the tape then get things aligned while pulling a little backing at the time. Im sure that Insulation4less's tape is great too, but from what I could tell there is no backing and once you bought it that was it so Bluetex won out there. I decided to recess my vapor barrier to try and keep as many holes from being poked in it out and the install came out great. It was a little harder till we figured out the system to get it to go in smoothly but overall it was not too bad. It looks good and gives me some extra space to work with as well. Overall, the Prodex is great and provides insulation and a vapor barrier as I have no condensation issues. Insulation4less.com was great to work with and the cost was unbeatable so for me I had a pleasant experience.

Ordered prodex insulation prior with no issues when it was time to reorder i responded to a message about huge discounts. No matter which sale or promo it is always the same price. I just asked a question. I was immediately told i do not how to read and that i should go away along with a few other choice comments. Apparently small customers do not mean anything to this company. Pretty sad and unprofessional.

I was a bit skeptical when I initially found the Prodex Insulation page. But after reading the reviews, looking at customer pictures, and watching a few videos, I decided to buy some. Our barn was completely remodeled in 2016, gutted the bottom 4', and put in all new wiring, sheetrock, flooring, HVAC, etc. I wasn't sure what to do with the ceiling in my shop, and needing to put funds elsewhere, the ceiling remained unfinished until late this summer. Above my shop was the loft where hot summer temps got to 125+, and in the winter got to sub-freezing at times. The plywood flooring between the loft and my shop below did not provide much of a thermal barrier. I can say that the Prodex is awesome! Even on days when outside temps are in the 90s, with the loft in excess of 110 degrees, my shop now stays a cool 68-72. I love the look, the ease of installation, effectiveness, and value. I'd definitely recommend this product!

We live in Southern Utah and for three months, we're over 100 degrees (typically up to 120 degrees). Prior to Prodex (10M, R22), we had an evaporative cooler, fans, and misters installed, but everything still felt hot. We tested the roof and the temperature was 170 degrees! My friend indicated that without insulation, we'd never be able to overcome that. So - I started my insulation search. We had companies come out, and I couldn't decide on what I wanted (although I knew I didn't want spray foam because I hated the way it looked). I found Prodex, watched the YouTube review videos on it for other metal structures (before and after with metal garage temperatures being taken) and I was sold. I also bought the tape and glue - but I recommend using Gorilla Construction glue with the hot temperatures I'm experiencing. Some of the pieces with Prodex's glue are coming undone from the heat, but the Gorilla is holding up - so this is the only change I'd make. I absolutely love the insulation. It looks exceptional in my barn and makes it look brand new - plus it drops the temperature 15-20 degrees from outside (with everything running and on). We also had great luck during the winter so my radiant heater didn't have to run so long! Prior to Prodex, I ran it endlessly - but with it - roughly 10-20 minutes is all I need! I'm ordering another roll to finish the front of my barn (currently a weak point in my system), but I absolutely love it and recommend it to every equestrian who wants to insulate their barn! It's easy (and light) to work with too!
