I booked a ticket for military travel on 6/2 and had to cancel less than an hour later. I call your customer service and spoke to Mr. Braxton. He said that I would still be charged a cancellation fee and issue fee for the ticket. I planned to to reschedule my ticket through your site. Most airlines allow canceling within 24hrs. I am not understand why this is not available through your site when airlines offer this basic courtesy. Booking # *******
I have received the tickets and it says issued successfully and confirmed but i've been trying to click on it for confirmation and it says there was an error on the tickets locator.
Very good selection of flights just wish there was more of an editing option
I'm disappointed in this service. I was not aware that these tickets were "saver x" and seats would not be able to be selected by me. They will not assign seats until we arrive at the airport. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, I wanted to make sure we were all sitting together. For $200 more I would have booked through Alaska Air and been able to choose our seats. This was not clear before I booked these tickets. I specifically asked about seat assignments prior to booking and was told I could choose seats once tickets are issued by the airline. That was not true.
Cheaper than booking through any other website
I should have checked the airlines website 1st before booking. I booked business seats through MilitaryFares, then later went on the airlines website to look at flights for a friend, same flight, 1st class tickets were $120 cheaper. I wasn't pleased with that. Definitely my fault for not checking, but definitely recommended checking airline pricing before booking with MilitaryFares
Changed the price after I bought tickets, called me past midnight to tell me and woke me up with duty the next morning at 5am. Called and sent emails telling me they changed the price but would cover it, but took my flexible ticket add on away because of poor communication on their part.
I love how much MilitaryFares helped me save on my flights. I had to fly from SK to OR USA on a last minute 9 day notice and got a super discounted round trip price around $800 when everywhere else is over $1,300. Literally saving me almost $500. So I'm very thankful and happy I didn't go broke.
Hotel: Good experience. The only issue is having to pay the full amount upfront on certain hotel rooms that you book as a deposit.
Airline flights: Good experience. Very reasonable and easy to book.
Showed up to the airport check in an hour prior to my flight just to find out that military fares canceled my flight and didn't tell me. Somehow my military status being verified through govx wasn't enough for military fares. Claimed they sent me emails but I never got anything.
I ended up paying for my child's plane ticket even though she's under two. There's no option for "lap child." Now that I have my ticket(s) my child is a lap child. I would like a refund for her ticket. Other than that excellent process!
It was my first time using Military Fares to book a plane ticket and it was an easy and smooth experience.

Quick, easy and great multiple options
I initially was on GOVX browsing hiking/camping items. The travel section got me curious with a lesuire trip around the corner. The section disclosed competitive rates for members upon clicking the link. Honestly I wasn't too sold on the claim given I often travel domestically for work. However, I compared the rates to other platforms on a particular international round-trip & it had the best value. So I proceeded with the booking. The user interface to the website is friendly to navigate in my opinion. After booking, the website may try to upsell you some add ons in the event you need to cancel or change your flight. I declined & took the "calculated risk". Upon paying, the email you provided during sign up is where they send the flight itinerary. Rest assured however, if you want it sent to seperate email. They allow you do that also. In all, friendly U/I, good flight rates detailed purchase and would recommend.
Think it's too early to tell at the moment. However, I did like their rates.
I wish I would have known about MilitaryFares sooner! Saved me hundreds of dollars booking a last minute flight for a family emergency. This is by far one of the best services offered to military and their family. Thank you!
This search tool helped me find affordable options for flights. This will be my first go to whenever Im searching for flights in the future.
Only problem was the pricing would change the next day for the same ticket. Maybe add a bookmarking or reserve ticket system for people wanting to budget

I was shopping around for last minute flights and saw this. I am currently active duty with the Ohio Army National Guard and needed to fly to Florida last minute. Made this a super easy and quick decision with booking my flight. Will use again, hands down!
Pretty quick and easy. Also ensuring military members are able to utilize cheap flights.
