OpenStreet Map service is useless and provides zero value to anyone, as 90%+ of the time, it's just a picture of? With NO LOCATION INFORMATION! What a joke, must be managed by school children.
I think this is a great idea. A free, open source GPS mapping project. Allows you to contribute GPS information to a worldwide GPS database. I know people that have contributed by mapping the outline of campus buildings, or just updated information to be more current that what can be found in commercial web sites like Google Maps and Yahoo Maps. This is the ability to improve the information that your GPS provides you with.
