Absolutely terrible customer service and a masterclass in deflection.
I ordered a suit for an upcoming wedding and was sent the wrong size and incorrect button configuration. Instead of taking ownership and resolving the issue quickly, StudioSuits dragged me through days of back-and-forth, repeatedly asking for photos, measurements, and "re-verification" of something that was clearly their mistake.
They even admitted the size label was wrong — yet somehow still insisted the jacket was made correctly. That's not just contradictory, it's insulting. Then came the classic blame shift: suggesting the issue was my "measuring technique" and that the jacket "fits quite well," despite clear evidence it does not.
To make matters worse, they suggested I pay a local tailor to fix their mistake — as if a jacket that is too small can magically be altered to become larger. That alone shows a complete lack of understanding or accountability.
Their "solution"? A small gift certificate to encourage me to spend more money with them. No refund. No exchange. No urgency — even with a time-sensitive event.
This company hides behind policy instead of standing behind their product. If something goes wrong, expect delays, excuses, and zero accountability.
Avoid at all costs.
Just received a light weight blazer. Ordered in my regular size. Came way too small. Complained to the company and their only response was to offer me a $50 gift certificate on my next order. Took it to a seamstress who told me it was 5 inches too small. Her last comment to me was "you got ripped off." This was a $400 blazer. Promised I would negative review them every chance I got. And never mind the fit, the blazer wasn't all that impressive.
In my experience, this company has been incompetent, unethical, and has actually lied to me. Was just trying to make a normal order for custom jeans. Took 19 days of back-and-forth emails so they could "get the order right." After finally making the order, they did not follow the measurements we had agreed on. Missed the waist, length, and the thighs (by over four inches). They refused to redo them and tried to pass it off as "normal fluctuations" in the tailoring process. Just as they created multiple miscommunications in the email chain, they clearly miscommunicated with the tailor about the measurements. Had ordered 14 pairs of jeans from the company they used to be (Make Your Own Jeans), never had an issue. Worst experience I've ever had with an online company.
Custom jacket delivered in the wrong size – company unwilling to take responsibility.
I ordered a custom suede blazer in EU size 56 Long. What I received was a jacket that was dramatically smaller — too short, too tight, and nowhere near what a 56L should be. As requested, I provided photos and measurements clearly documenting this.
Instead of acknowledging the issue, StudioSuits repeatedly insisted that the jacket matched their "standard", even though their standard clearly does not align with recognised sizing. Their only offer was a USD 70 voucher, which would merely cover the customs and handling fees I, as a Danish customer, would have to pay to receive another jacket — and would therefore still leave me paying full price twice in order to end up with a garment I could only hope would fit correctly.
They refused both a remake at a reasonable discount and a partial refund, and eventually closed the case despite the evident deviation from the size ordered.
The result: I paid full price for a jacket I cannot use.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend StudioSuits to anyone looking for reliable sizing or responsible customer service.

It's a scam. They ask you for measurements, but don't follow the measurements. Sent me a suit that didn't fit. And would not exchange or refund. In addition, the material didn't look like in the photo. I lost $500. They should go out of business. Btw - I had good experience with Proper Cloth and Sene. So I have some experience with online bespoke clothes. StudioSuits is just bad!
Their cover letter in the shipment says: "Kind Note: Your recommendations are very important to us, please do spread the word about our services." They asked; they shall receive. This is a third-world cut & sew shop masquerading as affordable British Luxury. Trying to get customer service is ridiculous. You get carefully crafted responses that basically tell you to "f--k off"; we've got your money. If you are not satisfied too bad. Go away and live with it. You are the one who chose the wrong color. Who knows what nefarious actors/actions exist in their supply chain.
If you have your measurements at Studio Suits, its very easy to create new orders. I have always been pleased with my Studio Suits orders.
I received yet another great suit from Studio Suits. I highly recommend you consider buying from them. This last suit was a Bristol Rope Stripe which is an excellent 120s Australian Merino Wool. Or if you want you could buy one from one of those places that comes out to your office and charges you about 2000 to 2500 for one that may be of equal quality.
I stumbled on StudioSuits when looking for a new suit for a wedding. The idea that a standard measurement suit fits everyone is flawed so I was delighted to see that these suits and pants can be made to measure. I provided all the measurements and set off the order. As advertised turnaround was about 4-6 weeks and the garments were delivered in a presentation box. Fit and finish was great and I have just place another order with custom measurements at no additional cost. Very good customer service and follow up. Highly recommend!
Excellent assistance and a beautiful product. Not a lot of firms offer linen jackets, so it was a real find discovering this firm online.
Products are easy to measure and order, and the website makes it a cinch to order. Like having an online taylor.
I could not be happier with the quality, fit and look of this suit. Never purchased a cut to fit suit online before, now it will be the only way I buy a suit. Excellent product and so pleased to have found you!
I am thoroughly impressed with StudioSuits. I ordered the suit for my wedding through them. I was able to choose the exact specifications of my suit; measurements, materials, and design elements. The order took just under a month from placement to delivery which was great for a custom suit. I was relieved to see when it arrived that the color was very accurate to the photos online. I do not believe that the equivalent price at a big brand suit store would get the same quality product.
Perfect fabric. Just as I expected.the fabric is of high quality and classic design.I'm looking forward to get me a new set
Fits great, fast turnaround, quite satisfied! Will be returning for a waistcoat in the near future. Now You buy one!
The quality of the suit is well below acceptable standards. My suit was received with snags throughout the coat and pants. I requested a refund for the defective product and was told that they do not give refunds under any circumstances. Instead, they offered an insulting 10% discount that I would be able to use on another purchase of their raggedy products. Stay away from this company.
I have bought 5 suits from studio suits.
The first 3 were perfect. We loved the place, material, fit, everything. The 4th suit was burned by irons (you could see the iron marks) and the stitching was all puckered and wonky. After a month of back and forth with studio suits, they finally sent a replacement suit. I figured that was a one off mistake by quality control and I ordered another suit. This one came WAY too small and also with wonky stitching again. My measurements have never changed, but studio suits blamed me for growing taller! Lol. They said I'm lying even after sending them a ton of photos of the suit not being the measurements I sent in. They have since said they will not do anything for me unless I BUY ANOTHER SUIT OR SEND THEM MORE MONEY. They have hence stolen my money as they sent me an unwearable suit. They will no longer reply. I'm done with them.
I paid $250 for a suit jacket and received a jacket with a large stain on the sleeve. When I reported this, they suggested I take the suit to a dry cleaner. I did and the dry cleaner could not remove the large stain.
Studio Suit offered me a $40 gift certificate to their website. I should get a new, undamaged suit jacket. Offering me a gift certificate so I can spend more money on their products (when I have received a stained product from them the first time) is insulting.
A reputable company would allow me to return the damaged garment for an undamaged replacement or offered a partial refund.
Purchased other suits. Quality was good. Last suit was sent to wrong address. Company wanted me to sort out the problem myself. After contacting the courier (UPS) three times they kept referring me back to the seller and the seller kept referring me back to the courier. I was so frustrated I told Studio Suits to keep my money and the suit (if it ever turned up). Overall a really bad experience. Poor business practice as I was a repeat customer. Never again.
Refused to allow me to return. Suit arrived wet and poor quality. They told me they have a NO RETURNS POLICY and there machines dont make mistakes - machines? They advertise as hand made. I was lucky as I bought through PayPal and due to EU law they have to give me a refund.
Answer: You cannot call these folks. They do not provide a phone number
Answer: Agreed! Please remove it. This company is a scam and is misleading people
Answer: It takes about 1 month but mostly due to shipping. I was unsure as i never ordered a suit online. From my experience it was a huge mistake. And to add insult to injury the company want more monies to fix their mistakes. My recommendation is to read reviews outside the boundaries of the company. Seems obvious but necessary
Answer: Was your suit ever delivered to you? I am interested in purchasing a suit from Studio Suits. And how long did it take?
Answer: Bad choice: They sell Donegal Tweed, but they deliver some sub-standard wool fabric. No fit, no proper construction, cannot even do a proper shoulder line. Dreadful.
