Alibris enjoys a strong reputation among customers for its extensive selection of books, particularly rare and antiquarian titles, coupled with competitive pricing and reliable service. Many users appreciate the straightforward pricing structure and flat-rate shipping, which enhance their shopping experience. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the checkout process, including difficulties in changing shipping addresses and the requirement for lengthy reviews, which can be frustrating. Overall, while customers express high satisfaction with the platform's offerings, there is room for improvement in user interface and customer support aspects.

The website seems to get utterly confused if I search for a book, then try to log in, and then have to ask for a new password. The items appears to be suddenly unavailable. I like user interactions to be simple and intuitive.
I expect your website is designed by people for whom its the centre of their world, but for me it's one of many book selling sites, which I use rarely.
Easy to use, quick check out process. Item headed for the UK.
Just try ordering something where the delivery address is different from the billing address. Or maybe that is not the problem - but it's the problem with any saved address
I dont think I am stupid. The design of the website is APPALLING
The website isn't the clearest
Needs an overhaual from a website designer - not because it's inelegant, but because it's tricky to navigate
I live in the US, but I wanted a book for a friend in the UK. So far, it has been easy and economical to order a book to be delivered to him from a UK vendor on the Albris UK website!
Alibris is my go-to destination for pre-loved books. Its great back catalogue and consistently low shipping make it the place to look first.
Thank you. All good. UI seems well designed. I don't have any more to say. Please reduce the character limit. It's very irritating to be asked to write more when there's nothing more to say
Alibris is a great find for movie collectors. Easy to order, reasonable prices and a quick delivery. Highly recommended.
Only ordered once before, dvd did take a longtime to be delivered but item was in great condition. This is my second order so hopefully a positive experience.
Tired and tested and trusted service; having been returned money in the past when a book didn't show up.
I Prefer that my first name is NOT displayed on the delivery label, ie I'd rather it was just Mrs, then initial then surname. Better for security.
It was a very efficent process. Sometimes too quick! Once after paying for the item I receive a belated message saying the vendor no longer has the book. The payment process, it seems, takes less time than the vendor's search for the product. This did not happen today - I delayed making the payment for a few minutes, but it has happened to be recently.
I had to swap devices in order to continue checkout, and still had to click several times to actually make it to checkout. Then I couldn't use my usual credit card for no obvious reason and had to enter alternative details. It was all pretty painful.
Extensive selection of out of print books at great prices. Cheap international shipping and they always arrive in the condition promised. What more could you ask for?
Alibris is my favourite second hand bookseller. Great selection, great prices, great service.
Happy to have found you, looking for a long time for a source for research books in the US
Easy to use and choose books for a second life. Great choice and quality.
Such a great variety of reasonably priced books. Keep up the good work
Checkout seems to be a little confusing as I had no idea why I had to confirm the mailing address.
A small problem getting my account name and password recognised. This has been a problem with this site for a while.
There seems to something wrong with adding vouchers. It would have been appreciated if a short procedure can be added wrt adding vouchers, especially after spending a considerable amount on books.
One remark, the shipping duration is not visible. Couldn't see it at all.
An order from goodwill books was cancelled and I am still waiting for a refund. They claim the book is in very poor condition and thus isn't worth what I paid for it, and they said a refund was being processed. Yet it's still available for purchase on other websites.
I have however had a good experience buying from other sellers and I understand the short coming from that one selling isn't a reflection upon alibris.
