This evening I had dinner at Donato's in Westmount on Sherbrooke Street. The service was good but the food was not good at all. We had the Seabass and the portion was "extremely" small (photo) $38 and the fish was overcooked. Not good at all.
We asked for a particular wine on the menu and they did not have it anymore and had to settle for another wine which we did not enjoy. The appetizer was calamari, it was good but again, the portion was extremely small. I asked if the cook was Italian and he was not, he had taken courses in and around Montreal to learn how to cook meals. All in all, I would definitely not recommend this restaurant, it's kind of like a phony Italian place.

Was misled on charge price. My emailed receipt said one price, which is the price I authorized. But my final charge on my credit card was completely different. Which I didn't authorize. If I had known before hand, I would have cancelled the order or changed it around. There is plenty of competition in the pizza market, I have no problem going some where else. Which is probably why they didn't let me know before hand, so they could make a extra buck.

UPDATE: 7-7-23 = They came back and contacted me, apologizing for what happened. I actually appreciate that and wasn't expecting it to happen.

Over all the pizza delivery services I have found Donatos is always on Point! The food is delicious, fresh, hott and on time! They take pride in serving there customer what they deserve. We love to order from them
