I was only able to speak to a robot whichever option I chose to dial. The booking was made for hotel stay with parking. I later checked with hotel directly and parking is not available. I now need to cancel booking with you and get refund but can only speak to robot who put me on hold for 40 minutes.

The representative was nice and helpful... However, even after being told that I was calling to help my girlfriend find a place for her and my child for the night and needed to double check with her, I was pressured 2 or 3 times to book the room immediately and was told that the hotel was about to sell out. I was also told there was no pet fees. Upon arrival to check in, my girlfriend noticed there was a pet fee sign. Good experience but it would have been great if I didn't feel pressured to book and the pet fee would have been clarified correctly.

I called Stoney Creek Inn directly from their website and was not informed that I was being "assisted" by a 3rd party reservation system. This was not communicated at any point. When asked what was available, we were quoted a room and price. After saying we would take it we were told that room was no longer available (it had been approximately 10 seconds since he quoted the price). He then tried to switch us to another room at a much higher price. When I questioned the price, Dan suddenly dropped the price by almost $50. I asked for a better price since we were suddenly being switched and it appeared that he met us half way between the two prices. I verified the price twice with my husband listening to the conversation. When the email confirming the reservation arrived, the price was higher than what we were quoted. Upon checking into the hotel we were told the room we booked was not available but instead was given the room that were originally tried to book all while being charged considerably more that we were quoted in the first place. It feels like we were subjected to a bait and switch and a dishonest representative. I have learned my lesson and will always ask if I am speaking with the actual hotel after this. Just disgusted by the whole process.

Kimberly was fine. Not her fault. But I was unaware that I was booking through a third party, since I just dialed the number for Travelodge in Burlington, VT that was provided when I searched for a nearby hotel. This honestly should be more clear during the booking contact. I was just so desperate to get horizontal after a long day of travel.
Turns out that I was charged $70.00 more than quoted on the website, and the room we checked into had a broken toilet which would not flush. When I explained that to the front desk, the manager made it my problem since I didn't ask them to call a plumber right away, which was ridiculous since we checked in at 1:00 AM after nearly 24 hours in transit from Cardiff, Wales. I'm NOT asking for a plumber in that situation. We just needed sleep. And I did expect a working toilet.
I'll also contact Travelodge now that I'm over the jet-lag, but I felt betrayed. I expected better.

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
